Minutes read and approved of Junel7 , 1946.
Report of Officers read and pppsed on file ,police report.
Resolution # 272 for condemnation proceedings read and adopted
by the unanimous vote of the council present .
Petition read from property owners along East Smith St ,and Alvord
to request the council to have the engineer set grade stakes and
give an estimate on the cost of a lateral sewer.lvlotion carried to
grant the request,and the engineer to give an estimate at this time.
Motion was passed to instruct the engineer to set a lire of stakes
for an easment ,for the purpose of laying; a lateral sewer to serve
the residence on the west side of 3rd . eve . in notth Park,and to
serceh the records for the legal discription of land and property
owners ,and turn same over to the City Attorney to draw up said
easments to be signed.
Notion was passed to use a light grade of oil on the streets ,
or heavy if they,"property owners " seen fit.
Motion was passed to grant the request og the Legion to block off
two streets ,one for display booths and one for a street dance the day
of their festival.

Motion passed for the City Attorney to draw up resolution to
create an L.I.D. for the laying of lateral sewers in North Park
Add. to Kent,and certain unplatted property adjason there too.
the district to include ; in the alley starting at Winner St.
running north to the North City Limit line ,between First and Second
Ave .and starting at Winner St.running north to the North City Limit
line in the alley between Second Ave . and Third Ave .and starting at
Winner Ave . extended,and running north to the City Limit Lin4 ,this
lateral to be laid in an easment strip approximatly 160 ft.west of
the center line of 3rd. Ave.The over all boundries to be ,starting
at a point at Winner Stand First Ave.thence running north on First
Ave .to the North City Limit Line ,thence running west on the City
limit line to a point 160 ft. west of the center line of 3rd. Ave .
thence south to a point on Winner Ave . extended 160 ft. west of the
center line of 3rd. Ave . thence east along the line of Winner St.

+ Motion was passed for the City Attorney to draw a resolution
for the City to advance the money for a lateral sewer,through the
Ramsey Estate ,starting from a point on West Temperance St ,at the
alley between 2nd . & 3rd. Ave. running north to meet the same
alley at Winner St.the said sum of money to be advanced until at
such time the abutting property should have use for sewage service ,
and at that time before connecting to some shall pay to the City
on front foot basis.
j Motion was passed for the Attorney to draw up an easement for
the crossing of the Ramsay Estate for a lateral sewer line to serve
the residence of North Park, .and the engineer to furnish meets and
bounds for same .
