Regular meeting of the City Council present , Mayor Dunbar,
Councilmen Edline ,Farman,Niorrill,Sells ,Thompson,Worth.
Minutes of October l,read and approved ;
Reports of Officers read and filed, Budget , Treasurer's and 'G�
Clerks.
Pettition was received from the residence on North Central
j Ave . between Meeker and Smith,asking for a one hour parking,
Motion was passed to have that part of North Central ave .a
one hour parking zone ,and to have signs placed to that effect.
Motion was passed to have the engineer acting to place grade
stakes for a new sidewalk at Harrison and Thompson Ave.
Motion was passed to instruct the Clerk to write a letter to
Miss .Nell Ramsay in rege:td to the complaint received about the
poor condition of the fence on the west side of First Ave. No. ,
.and the blackberry vines that hang over the walk.
Motion was passed to instruct the Clerk to write a letter. to
,the Health Officer in regard to the complaints that have been
received by the Council in regard to the sewege . condition in
North Park Addition,and for the Health Office to make and in-
spection of the condition,and order it tsken care of .
Mr. Oliver of the General Engineering 6o of Seattle, was
introduced to - the Council,and answered questions in regard to
a sewage disposal plent,and ways and means of obtaining grants ,
, and loans to finance same.
Motion was passed for a resolution to be drawn for the next
regular meeting , to hire a firm of engineers to draw plans for
the stating of the work on a sewage disposal plant.
Motion was passed to have the City Hall redecorated inside.
Motion was passed to have the Sears & ?'Pilliams box condition
referred to the City Attorney for action, .
