Regular meeting of the City Council ,present ,Mayor Dunbar,
Councilmen, Edline ,Morrill,Sells,Thompson,Worth.
Minutes of June 4th. read and approved;
Reports of Officers read and filed ,Budget Clerk's & Treasurers.
Councilman Thompson reported on the garbage collection,as to
plans and ways to collect,and the committee was given two more
weeks to formulate a plan as to an ordinance to create a garbage
utility.
Motion was passed to call for bids ,for the clean ing out the
ditches,and placing proper size tile , in street int r-sections and
under private drive ways ,in North Park Add.under the supervision
of the City Engineer,as to grade and material.
Motion was passed by the unanimous vote of the Council present
to purchase a 'Cheverlet truck as to the Bid received from Kent
Motors .
Motion was made and passed for the City to pay for the current
used in lighting the Pylon inttalled for the service men in the
City Park.
Motion was made and passed to uychase $15,000.00 of war bonds
from various funds by resolution 265,which is a part of these
minutes.
Motion was passed to have the street committee ,contect some one
to.mow- the grass along the streets.
Motion was passed for Mr. Rod to purchase a pipe cutter,to cut
pipe of 4" diameter.
