Minutes of May 7th. read and approved;
Report of Officers read and filed,Budget ,Clerk's Treasurer..
Communications from Rod.Arney,Mrs. Reed at north Central ,and the
Fire Dept.
Mr.Rod Arney of the Arney' s Five and Ten Store ,r•equested of the
Council to help him in paving the side walk by his store ,that owing
to the cause of the City improving the intersection part of the
walk it made it necessary for him to tare up more walk than he plan-
ed on.By motion of the council it was recommended that the request
be no•t granted.
A letter from Mrs .Reed on north Central Ave. in regard to the
open ditch thet: oontained sewer smells , that she did not adhere to ,
and demanded that the Council take some action on,was placed in the
hands of the Sewage and Drainage committee for complete investigation.
A letter from the Fire Dept.thanking the Council for the increase
in the pay they receive for performing the duty of firemen�ii
