The minutes of August 21,1944 read and approved ;
Police report read and filed;
Letter read from the Washington Defense Council ,in regard to a
celebration on the winning of the war with Germeny,that it should be
postponed until the last fighting in the South Pacific has ceased.
The clerk drew the attention of the council that the police exp-
ense budget was bein' over-dracin,A motion was made and passed to
draw warrants on the War Liquor Tax fund for the remainder of the
year.
