Regular meeting of the City Council ;present,lolayor Dunbar, Councilmen,Farman,Morrill,Naden,Sells ,Shoff. Minutes of October 18th .read and approved; Police report read and filed ; Councilman Farman suggested that stray dogs be picked up by the police dept.and some place be provided for there keep,until they were redeemed of turned over to the Humain officers. Councilman Sells made a motion to give the police committee power to act on the dog situation. Mr. Rod reported the repair of the grader to the Council,that it would be in running condition in a short while ,if the factory '! could deliver one more part. 0 Reslution # 244 adopted by the unamious vote of the City council present. Urgeing upon the legislative branch of the Gov' t ,the enacting of such laws as may be found necessary to protect the government of the United States from dangers of espionage and sabotage ,by resident aliens or by the Citizens who are of alien parentage and now reside in this country of Japanese parentage. Police Judge Madsen introduced Mr.Ross to the City Council , stateing that he was the . person that caused the damage to the police car,by crossing over in front of seme ,on north Central Ave . Mr. Ross stated that he was informed that the damages to the police cer,was in the amount of around �225.00 ,and that he thought that in his mind was to much,for the damages he caused and he would like for the Council to consider that he pay half of the amount ,and the City bare the balance .His half being paid by the month,of $20 .00 each month until paid. Motion was made and passed to put the matter of Mr.Ross in the hands of the finance committee ,for further details ,and report at the next meeting, Motion was made to have the hoods removed from the ornimental street lights ,and placed in a sdde place so they can be replaced if needed,in the futher.
