Regular meeting of the City Council;present ,Mayor Dunbar, Councilmen,Fermen2Morrill ,Naden,3ells ,Shoff,and Thompson. Police report read and filed ; Minutes of Sept .20 ,repd and approved; The 1944 budget was passed by the unemious vote of the council present. Ordinance 7f 736 adopting the bud€;et for the year of 1944. Ordinance 737 fixing the tax levy for the year of 1944. Councilman Farman reported that the police committee in- vestigated the present trailer camps within the City,and found that they were operated ,in a good condition,and recommended that the trailer ordinance be adopted ,with a section added too ,for a license fee of �QJO.00 per year. Ordinance r 738 Regulating the parking ,and use of trailer coaches,in the City ,nd a fee for a license , nd fixing the penali.ties for its viol.ations .by the unnmious vote of the council present. Councilman :laden reported to the council , thnt the insuran.c company paid the claim,of Central Service station,for the damoEe the prowler car caused. to Laura 'shucks car last iOnunry. Mons Rod reported to the council that the grader was out of commission,and needed about _Q00 .00 worth of repairs. Councilman Naden made a motion to have the grader repaired, carried. Motion was made and passed,not to allow the grader to be used out side of the City for private use ,without the full consent of the City Council. Motion was made and passed ,nor the street committee to sit a charge for the street grader and man,when it would be rented to any private parties ,within the City Limits. Mons Rod recommended to the Council , that the water Dept. was in great need of a pipe die that would cut threads up to 4 inches ,and the cost would be about :r?70.00 dollars . Motion was made by Counciinnn Shoff to purchase a pipe die . carried.
