Regular meeting of the City Council ;present Mayor Dunbar
councilmen,Farman,Morrill,Naden,Sells,Thompson,and Worth.
Minutes of august 2,read and approved.
Reports read and filed ,Clerk' s Treasurer' s and Budget report
Trailer camp suggested ordiance refered to the police r�
committee , . g�
Councilman Farman suggested that there be a fourth man on
the police department to take the place of a merchant
patrolman.
A motion was made and passed by the unamious vote of the
councilmen present that there be a fourth man placed on
the police force ,starting September lst.1943.at the rate
of pay prescribed by the salary ordiance of the police
department.
Councilman Thompson reported on the activeties of the
civilian Defense groups.
A motion was passed by the unamious vote of the council
present ,to trade the present police car ,for one that is
more suitable for the purpose ,and the City recieving the
difference of $200.00 in cash ,in the trade .
