First Regular meeting of The City Council;present Mayor Dunbar, Councilmen Farman,Morrill,Naden,Sells,Shoff,Thompson,and Worth. Minutes of May 17 ,read and approved; The police committee reported that the Bus zone ,on east Meeker was taken care of. Councilman Thompson made a report on the O.P.A.garbage price regulations to private dealers. Councilman Thompson made a request through the Captain of Civilian police,for seven sets of keys to the police office in the City Hall.It was referred,and a motion made by councilman Neden,and carried,to the police committee with power to act. A letter was read,from the State Health Dept.Regarding War Production Board,Utility Order U-1 and ordiance pertainjing to same .No action taken. Ordinance No.733 Regulating the Fire Dept.was read,and placed upon its final passage ,and carried by the unanimous vote of the council. Unanimous vote was cast for E.H.Neden,hlayor Pro Tem. Councilmai Nr�. a�den called to the attention of the City council that a street,, ad been out on West Meeker for some time .Mons Rod advised that,the Manager of the Power Co. ,had no replacments , for' ths ` tops on these street lights. City Treasurer Geo.Coleman appointed L.H.Cavensugh ,Deputy Trees and it was confirmed by the unanimous vote of the Council.
