Regular meeting; of tiZe City Council ; present Mayor Wooden
and Councilmen harnes , Dunbar , Naden , Sells and Thompson.
Clerks report , Treasurers report and budget reputt for P. o.
of April presented ,)nd filed.
A petition was presented and read , signed by 13 residents of
the residents of the comunity, protesting against the car recki
place at First and Titus , refered to the police & Fire Committe
for investigation.
Emergency Ordinance No. 732, providing for increase of sal-
ary for the police , was read , placed upon its final passage
end carried by the unanimous vote of all of Councilmen present
Ordinance No. 733 , regulating the Fire Dept. , was read and
refered to Fire Committee and the Fire Chief.
Matter of Bus Parking Zone refered to the Police Committee
with power to act.
Mons Rod reported on his trip to the Convention last week
in Bellingham.
