Regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Wooden
and Councilmen Dunbar, 1.1orrill , 14aden, Sells , Shoff & Thompson.
Minutes of the meeting of February 15th . , last ,read and
approved.
Police report for Feb. -nd Library anual report presented
and filed.
The Fire Dept! s. recomendation of William A. Anderson for
regular membership on the Fire Dept. , in place of Dave Mooney,
now in the service , ,-1as upon motion confirmed .
The storm sewer on South Central reported in bad shape was
refered to the Sewage & Drai -.8ge Conmiittee , Power to Act.
Comunication read from Larry L. Lombard , requesting the
approval of the City Council for the granting of a permit to
run a for hire car, from the O.D.T. , which approval , upon motion
was grented.
Acknowledge of the receibt of the old cannon from the city
park was read from Col. Rudelph E. Smyser and promis of replace-
ment at the end of the :gar. The letter vifis retained by the Mayo
to be kept in trust for the Legion and Vet. of Foreign Wers.
Upon motion I;:r. Neil Shaffer was granted the use of a small
plot of land by the reservoir, for Victory G;=rden.
Upon motion both sides of Gowe street, from Second to Fourth
streets was made a two hour parking zone , and the police depart-
ment was instructed to infr,rce the order.
