Kent, Washington, September 8, 1942.
Regular meeting of the City Council ; present Mayor Wooden &
Councilmen Barnes , Dunber ,Sells , Shoff & Thompson.
Minutes of the meeting of August 17 , latt , read and approved.
Fire Dept. Report for the year 1941 and Police Dept. report
for August , last , read and filed.
Bid on making certain street repares opened and read and ref-
j ered to the next meeting.
Upon the recomendation of the Fire Dept. Grant Dunbar was a-
pointed as a regular member of the Fire Dept.
Tentative buget , for the year 1943 , w-- s presented and upon
motion ordered prepared and printed and notice of final hearing
set for �October 5 , next.
The offer of Mr. Bender to settle for breaking a light pole,
for $45.00, was presented but not accepted by the city.
