I Regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Wooden &
Councilmen Barnes , Dunbar, Naden, Sells , Shoff & Thompson.
Minutes of July 20th. , last, read and approved.
Police Dept. report for the month of July presented and filed
Emergency Ordinance No. 725 , making an emergency appropriation
for the Police Dept. was read and upon motion placed upon its final
passage and carried by the unanimous vote of all Councilmen prey nt.
Light Committee directed to have four or five broken light
poles repared , renewed or replaced as soon as posable.
Matter of sreeet crossing at first and west Temperance street
was refered to the Street Committee , power to act.
Some discussion on the matter of a"Comunity Center" , Building
but no action was taken.
