Regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Wooden &
Councilmen Barnes , Dunbar, Morrill, Naden, Sells, Shoff & Thomps n.
Minutes of the last regular meeting , Dec. 15 , and special
meeting of Dec. 29 , last, read and approved.
Finance Com. reported on Phone Franchise , recomending the
asking of 7 free phones and $150.00 per year for the renewal &
upon motion the recomendation of the Committee was adopted.
Ordinance No. 722 , declaring a defence emergency, was read
and upon motion ordered published with notice settingtime of hea ing
Resolution No. 238, designating an official newspaper, was
read and adopted unanimously.
Matter of a new 1" water line to Pacific Refrigating Co 's
old ice house , in Ramsay Add. was refered to the Plater Committee
with power to act.
The Engineer was instructed to finish mapping the Sewer and
water lines in the City.
The Mayor and Clerk were instructed to sign deed to Mr. Leo
Veeder of lot 9 , block 4, N. P. Add . to Kent.
