Kent, Washin-tcn, December 29 , 1941.
Special meeting of the City Council, called to consider
matters relating to the Emergency.
By unanimous vote an ordinance was ordered drawn, setting
up an "Emergency Fund" of $1000.00 , to be presented at the
next regular meeting of the Council.
By, unanimous concent the Police Department were given
permission to put on such extra men as needed and the Fire
Department were given authority to purchase an Air made
Warning Whistle at an advance on the estimated price.
No further business appearing the meeting, upon motion
did then adjurn.
