Kent , Washington, October 6 , 1941.
Regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Wooden &
Councilmen Barnes , Dunbar, Morrill , Naden, Sells , Shoff and
Thompson.
Minutes of the last regular meeting, Sept. 15th. ; read and
approved.
Police Department report for September , read and filed.
Street Committee reported the Concrete Construction Co. work
completed and upon motion the some was accepted and estimate
alowed. Also the Water Committee reported the Titus street line
completed.
Ordinance No. 716 , regulating fur farms within the city limi-
tes , was read and upon motion plriced upon its final passage and
carried by the vote of all of the mambers present except Council
man Barnes , who was excused from voting.
Ordinance No. 717 , adopting the budget for 1941 , was read and
upon motion placed upon its final passage and carried by the un-
imous vote of all of the Councilmen present.
Ordinance No. 718, fixing the tax levy for 1941 , was read and
upon motion placed upon its final passage and carried by the un-
vote of all of the Councilmen present.
A proposed "Defence Ordinance" madixamre was read and upon mo
tion laid on the table .
Upon motion the Engineer was directed circulate a petition
and prepare the necessary data for a lateril sewer in block 2 ,
Cross Addition.
