Kent, Washington, Sept . 15, 1941.
Regular meeting of the City Council ; present Mayor Wooden &
Councilmen Barnes , Dunbar, Naden, Sells , Shoff, and Thompson.
Minutes of the meeting of Sept. 2nd . ,last , read and approved .
The Clerks report , the Treasurers report and the Budget report;
for August , was presented and filed.
Comunications were read from the Seattle Fur Exchange , The
Dept. of Highways and Dent School hoard and filed.

Ordinance No. 715 , enumerating and providing for the punish-
ment and abatement of nuinsances , was read and upon motion placed
upon its final passage and carried by the unanimous vote of all
of the councilmen present , except councilman Barnes , who was ex-
cused from voting.
Upon motion Mrs. Nina Hardy was given permission to move a
Garage Building across the street from where it now stands on to
City Property, for the period of one year' s occupancy. j
Upon motion, the city men were directed to take charge of the
city dump.
Invitation to attend a meeting on Oct. 3, next , from the Vet.
of F. W. was received and accepted with thanks.
The Engineer was , upon motion, directed to procure levels for
lateral sewer north of Pioneer St and west of Central.
