Kent , Wash. , August 18, 1941.
Regular meeting of the city council; present Mayor Wooden and
Councilmen Naden, Sells , Shoff and Thompson.
Minutes of the last regular meeting, Aug. 4, last , read and.
approved.
Clerk' report , Treasurer' repor$ & Budget report , for July
presented and filed.
A dele gation from the James St. , Prospect St. district was
present and presented a petition signed by between 3 and 4
hundred residents, protesting mink farms in the city; matter
refered back to the committee and the :-ttorney for investigation
and report at the next meeting.
Upon motion the water line , between Titus & Saar , on Third,
was ordered renewed .
Upon motion the Street Committee was directed to have the alle
just east of Kennebeck and north of Titus improved and light
polls removed.
Concrete Construction was , upon motion, alowed an estimate of
$1400.00 , on his First Avenue cork.
Upon motion the Building Committee was authorized to have the
city hall repared jnd redecorated , when the time seemed to be
the most convenient to do so.
