Regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Wooden &
Councilmen Barnes, Dunbar, Naden, Sells & Shoff.
Minutes of the meeting of September 16, last, read and approjed.
Police report for September presented and filed.
Comunican read from the Department of Highways, in reguard
to the crossing at Dicks corner, read & filed.
Ordinance No. 708, Adopting the Budget for L941, was read &
upon motion placed upon its final passage and carried by the unt
imous vote of all of the Councilmen present.
Ordinance No. 709, Fixing tax levy for the year 1941, was
read and upon motion placed upon its final passage and carried
by the unanimous vote of all of the Councilmen present.
Resolution No. 231, Limiting the number of bear parlors and
Taverns in the city of Kent, was read an(d adopted by the unan-
imous vote of all of the Councilmen present.
Matter of fencing the outer reservoir was refered to the
Water Committss, with power to act.
