Kent , Washington, June 3, 1940.
Regular meeting of the City Council ; present Mayor Wooden &
Councilmen Barnes , Dunbar, Naden,Sells , Shoff & Thompson.
Minutes of the meeting of May 20th . , last , read and Approved.
Report of the Police Department presented and filed, for May.!
Dedication of the new reservoir was set for June: 29 , next.
Upon motion a deed was orderd issued to John Patton for lotsjj
5-6 & 7 , block 7 , W.C.I .Cos. First Addition to Kent, for the sum
of $150.00 , and the Mayor & Clerk were directed to sign the same .I
The Mayor reported upon the meeting of the Washing;ton Cities
Association, held in the city of Everett 1vday 23 at which conven-
tion he was a delegate.
Chief Bridges presented specifications for a new Fire Truck,I
which specifications were upon motion and unanmous vote adopted,
and bids ordered called for as per specifications.
Upon motion the matter of the sale of the old Howard-COOper
Fire Truck was refered to the Fire Chief and the Fire Committee.
