Regular meeting of the City Council ; present Mayor Wooden &
CouncilmenBarnes , Morrill , Neden, Sells , Shoff &xTk=aVxzxX
Minutes of the meeting of May 6th. , last , read and approved.
The Clerks report , Treasurers report and the Budget report
for April , was presented and filed.
The City Attorney was directed to write the N. P. Land Agent
that the City of Kent was not , at this time , in a position to
accept their offer, in the matter of the purchase of land at
Rock Creek.
Or No. 704, making James Street an Artearial Highway'
was read and upon motion placed upon its final passage and car-
ried by the unanimous vote of ail of Lhe Councilmen present.
The Mayor and Councilmen Naden were elected Delegates to at-
tend the Convention of Washington Cities , -which meets in Everet
May 24th. and 25th .
Upon motion, reguarlly made and carried, it was diected that
the Council Chambers should be used only for city functions.
, Mr. Mons Rod made a report to the Council on his trip to the
Water Works Convention at Portland last week.
