Kent , Washington, August 7, 1939.
Regular meeting of the City Council;,_present Mayor ?.Wooden and
Councilmen Barnes Dunbar, Morrill , Naden, Sells, Shoff Thompson.
Minutes of the meeting of July 17 , last , read and approved.
Ordinance No. 698, Vacating Celhoune 'day, w.•is read and upon
motion placed upon its final passage & carried by the unanimous
vote of the Councilmen present.
Peoples
Deeds from the 2iaxt National Bank, Mrs Trelstad and from
Blanch Bowen, to land for outlet to reservoir, were presented
and upon motion accepted. Also and agreement to repare any
damages that might be made by building the outlet to the reser-
voir was accepted and ordered signed .

Upon motion the 'Water Committee were authorized to call for
bids on a small pickup truck.
Mater of the purchase of pipe for the new reservoir was re-
fered to the Water Committee , with power to act.
L'latter of drainage on Central Ave.So. was refered to the
Drainage Committee , With power to act.
Matter of moving street light from N. W. Cor. of Third and
Titus Street south across Titus street refered to Light Committe
