Regulermseting of the City Council; present Mayor Wooden &
Councilmen Barnes , Dunbar , Morrill , Naden, Sells & Thompson.
Minutes of May 21st . , last , read and approved.
Petition to vacate Calhoun ''Gay read and the City Attorney
was directed to prepare a resolution for next meeting.
The Mayor and Clerk were authorized to sign a deed to part of
of lot one block one , City View Add. to Kent , to Mr. R.D.Ander-
son for the sum of t200 .00 .
The Mayor Announced the apointments as follows:
City Engineer John A Fallgreen
Chief of Police F. M. Imhoff
Fire Chief Charles Bridges
Health Officer Dr. C. B. Hoffman
Police Judge Peter PLadsen
Plumbing Inspector John Ti . Reed
Park Board Telter T. Clark
Dr. Roy Rugg
Frank Bouldron
Library Board,5 yr. term, Mrs. Betty L Leeper
Also the following Committee apointments were made.

Building & Plumbing Sells , Dunbar & Barnes
Streets & Alleys Dunbar , Naden & Sells
Health Sewage & Drainage Thompson, PtiMotrill & Shoff

The Council elected Councilman Grant Dunbar Mayor Protem.
' Mayor Wooden reported on the Convention of Washington Cities
held in Spokane last month.
Comunication read from the Palmer Coaking Coal Co. , reguard
to using water from Rock Creek, and refered to the dater Com.
and the City Engineer for investigation. Also a letter of
thanks was read from the Brick & Lime Co. for the
help of the City in procuring terra cotte trim for the new P.O.
Building.
