Regular meeting of the City council ;
Councilmen Barnes , Dunbar, Miller , Nadenl,r Sells,esent MShoff ayor Wooden& Thompso .
Minutes of the last regular meeting , May 1 , last, read and
approved.
Clerks report , Treasurer1report and the Budget report for the
month of April , presented and filed .
Sewer Committee reported serer conditions north of Temperance
street, matter left for further consideration.
Letter read from the State Director of Business Control , in
regard to the cost of a water correction to the Co-Op cannery
site leased from the City, and upon motion it was decided that
the City would take care of one half of the fee, $146 .00, the
State to pay the other half of $146 .00 , for a 4" conection.
Petition from Citizens , on the east hill , south of the Brace
School , was read and refered to the "`,)ter Committee for investi-
gation and report.

The Engineer was authorized and directed to make description
for a deed from Mr. Mac Boyker to corner of his lot for street
and the amount of $25.00 was authorized for payment of same.
Mons Rod made a report of the Water "forks Convention held in
Tacoma last week and presented Evuncilmen Shoff with a golf club ,
wove at the golf tourniment , held in conection therewith.
