Kent , 'rashinFton, April 19 , 1939 .
Regular adjurned meeting meeting of the City Council ; pres-
ent Mayor Wooden -jnd Councilmen Barnes , Dunbar, Neden, Sells
Shoff & Thompson.
The Committee of the `.'thole Council Reported , recomending
the purchase of a site for the Co-Op canery and the leasing
of the same to the State. Upon motion the r=--port of the Com.
was accepted and the recomendation adopted and the mayor and
the Clerk were directed and authorized to purchase the Site ,
for $500 .00 , and sign a lease of the some to the State.

Upon motion the Council went on record as favoring a terra
cotte trim for the new Post Office Building and the Mayor was
authorized to wire the government to that effect.
The purchase of a part of lot 1 , block 1 and lot 8, block
1 , City View Addition, from the County , by paying the taxes ,
was confirmed by vote of the Council.
No further business appearing , the meeting , upon motion
did then adjurn.
