HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Meeting - Council - Minutes - 04/03/1939 Kent, Washington, April 3 , 1939 Regular meeting of the City Council ; present Mayor Wooden and Councilmen Dunbar , Naden, Sells , Shoff and Thompson; Coun- cilman Miller coming in later. Minutes of meeting of March 20 , last , read and approved. Upon motion a Liquor License was denied to the Bungalow Cafe. Resolution No. 121 , requesting the State tostripe the street was read and adopted. Upon motion the Mayor was requested to procure an option to a part of the old Interurban Right-of-Way, between Titus street and Willis street , for $25.00 , and the Mayor and Clerk were directed to wright a letter to Olympia , advising the State that a site was available for the Co-Op Cenery. Authorization was given to the Mayor and Clerk to sign deed to lot 2 , block 7 , i.C .I .Col First to Kent, to Mrs Mary Frankie.
