A petition to eliminate the tearing up of parking strips and breaking of sidewalks on Harrison `')treet by trucks was read and refered to a special Committee for investigation. Annual report of the Fire Department and the Library was read and filed. Matter of contracting the street striping was refered to the Police Committee for investigation ^nd report. motion Upon/the Street Committee was directed to purchase a street grader, from gas tax funds , on the O .K. of the Dept of . batter of subscribing to a new city directory was refered to, the Finnance Committee , with power to act .
