Regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Wooden
and Councilmen Barnes , Dunbar, Miller , Naden, Sells & Thompson.
Minutes of the last regular meeting, April 18, last , read
and approved .
Matter of sidewalk on No. side of Gowe street & west of
Fourth Ave. refered to the Street Committee for investigation
and report.
A representative of the Frozen Foods Co.appeared , request-
a Franchise for Power Line, matter refered to Light Committee
for investigation & report.
Ordinance No. 692, granting Franchise to F. H. Hogue Co,
was read and upon motion placed upon its final passage and car-
ried by the unsimous vote of all of the Councilmen present.
Resolution No. 117 , granting the Department of Highways ,
permissian to stripe the streets , v,as read and passed by unan-
imous vote .
Matter of signing restricted zones , as requested by the
Director of Highways , was refered to the Committee.
The Mayor anounced that "Clean-Up-Meek" would be the time
included between May 7 , and May 21 , next , or two weeks instead
of one week, as here-to-fore.
