Regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Wooden
and Councilmen Barnes , Dunbar , Miller , Naden, Sells & Thompson.
Minutes of the last regular meeting , April 4, last , read
and approved.
Clerks report , Treasurers report , and Budget report , for
the Month of March , presented and filed .
Mayor & Clerk were authorized to sign letter to the army
Engineers on flood control situation.
Ordinance No. 690 and 691, anti-pickiting and grades of
streets at Second & Gowe , respectfully, were read and upon mo-
tion they were each placed upon final passage and carried by
the unanimous vote of all of the Councilmen present.
The F. H. Hogue Co. petioned for franchise to run a con-
veyor from their plant on R.R.Avenue to the Freezer on First
street and the same was refered to the Street Committee and the
Engineer for report and ordinance at the next meeting.
The Order of F. 0. E. requested the privalidge of holding
a three day celebration late in July or early in Aggust, the
same to include concession privalidges , and upon motion the
same was granted.
