Minutes of the meeting of January 17th.,lazt, was read and approved. dater Committee presented their report on the water situa- tion, and after considerable discussion, both "Pro & Con", and numerous questions from the audience answered by members of the Council, the report, upon motion, adopted by unanimous vote. Annual reports from the Fire Department and the Library we zxd presented, accepted and filed. The purchase of 14 lots on the hill, for reservoir site for $1050.00, was upon motion ratified by the council. Upon motion it was decided that the city proceed to get a Right -of -flay for the extention of James street east to the City limits.
