Minutes of the last regular meeting , December 20 , last, read and approved . Comunicetion read from the Fire Dept. , requesting the ap- ointment of Loyd 11. Armstrong as regular Fireman,Request Grante . Ordinance No. 687 , providing for the vacatingn of portion of Titus Street and the alley in block 18, Yesler' First Add. to Kent , was read and upon motion placed upon its final passage and carried by the unanimous vote of all of the Councilmen pres nt. Matter of water rates to the large users was refered to th Water Committee for recomendation at the next meeting.
