Regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Wooden and
Councilmen Barnes , Dunbar , Miller , Naden and Sells.
Minutes of the last regular meeting , September 20, last,
was read and approved.
Ordinance No. 681 , Adopting the Budget for 1938 and Ordinan
ce No. 682, Fixing the Tax Levy for 1938, were each read and
placed upon final passage and carried by the unanimous vote of
all of the Councilmen present.
Mayor and Clerk were directed to sign deeds to lot 27, Blk.
5, North Park Addition, to Mrs . Banks , upon payment of $60.00.
City Attorney was instructed to draw up and present a res-
olution .limiting the number of beer taverns in the City of Kent
to Eight (8) .
Police Committee reported progress on shower for F.D. and
tires for the police car.
