Kent , Washington, August 16, 1937
Regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Wooden
and Councilmen Barnes , Dunbar , Hardy, Naden, Sells & Thompson.
Minutes of the last regular meeting, August 2, last, read
and approved.
Clerks report , Treasurers report and the Budget rel)ort for
month of July presented and filed.
Councilman Thompson reported that the dump situiattdn for
Libby had been taken care of. Councilman Dunbar reported that
the PWA had finished up on Titus street and were well underway
on Kenebeck street.
RESOLUTION No. 114 , requesting the State to stripe Meeker
and Smith streets , was read and adopted.
Upon motion the Mayor and Clerk were authorized to sign
a deed to lot 1 , block 7, W-C.I . Co 's First Add. to Kent.
City Atty. braught up the matter of officers bonds which
was refered to the Finance Committee for investigation.
The Kennebeck regrade was left with the Street Committee.
