Kent , Washington , November l 1936.
FRegular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Wooden &
Councilmen Dunbar , Hardy, Miller, Naden and Sells.
Minutes, of the last regular meeting , October 19, last , was
read and approved.
Agreement with J.K.B.Anderson , for lot 1 , block 2, Yeelers
First Add. to Kent, was read, adopted and the Mayor and Clerk
were authorized to sign the same; also , the Mayor and Clerk wer
authorized and directed to sign deed to that certain property o
the east side of First St. Formerly belonging to Nels Pederson ,
for the sum of $600.00.
Ordinance No. 676 , fixing license fees for certain vocations
was read and upon motion placed upon its final passage and car-
ried by the unanimous vote of all of the Councilmen present.
The Fire Dept . was given permission to install additional
pipe for heating the upstares , and also permission to fix the
aproach to the fire station.
Matter of drainage on Titus street , by the Hi School , was
ref eyed to the Drainage Committee with power to act.
Matter of the sale of the Comunity Center property to Mr.
J. T. Bradley, was refered to the Finance Committee .
Engineer reported progress on the W.P.A.Projects and the
matter of W.P.A. Street Projects was left to the Street Com-
mitte and the Engineer.
