Kent , Washington , October 19, 1936.
Regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Wooden
and Councilmen Barnes , Dunbar , Hardy,laden, Sells & Thompson.
Minutes of the previous meeting, October 5, last , read and
approved.
A comunication from Dr. G. M. Mac Gregor was read and filed„
and the Clerk was directed to write Dr. Mac Gregor , expressing
the regret of the Council for the rude action of a city employ-
ee and assuring him that such actions would not be tolorated
in the future.
The question of screens for the store house windows and the
matter of notices to violaters of the water code eras refered
to the Water Committee , with power to act.
The grading and graveling of streets was refered to the St.
Committee with power to act.
Engeer reported progress on P.W.A.Projects and the Mayor
and Engineer reported on the meeting of the Assn. of Washing-
ton Cities at Auburn recentely.

Upon motion the City accepted to offer of the P.S.P.& L.Co.
of two Fire Hydrants, located on their property at the old
Interburan Car Barn Site.
No further business appearing the meeting, upon motion did
then adjurn.
