Regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Wooden
and Councilmen Barnes , Dunbar , Hardy, Miller , Sells & Thompson
Minutes of June 15th. ,laet, read and approved.
Matter of a crossing at Gowe & State streets refered to the
street Committee for investigation and report.
Comunications read from W.P.A. , Ass. of Washington Cities
and Ind. Ins. Service Assn. and filed.
Mayor and Clerk were authorized to sign deeds to Grant Dun-
b ar , lot 7 , Bl k. 4/, Ytx&xkx t and to Chas. Sells , l o t

Ordinance No. 663, appropriating $150.00 for the police
department, was read and upon motion placed upon its final
passage and carried by the unimouse vote of all of the Coun-
cilmen present.
Upon Mr. Gilbert was apointed watchman at .the large reser-
voir and ordered Deputized and Officer , 'he to received for his
services his water rent , not to exceed $1 .25 per month.
