Regular meeting -of the City Council; present Mayor Wooden
and Councilmen Barnes, Dunbar, Hardy, Miller, Sells & Thompson.
Minutes of the meeting of August 3, last, read -and approved.
Clerks report, Treasure's report and Budget report, for the
month of July, presented and filed.
The Street Committee were directed to call for bids on walks
and cross walks at State and Gowe streets.
Petition from property owners on Central Avenue, requesting
the removal of light poles from the street to the alley, was
read and refered to the/21awLt Committee, power to act.

Comunication from Dept. of Public Works, crossing signs,
read and refered to the Street Committee, power to act.
