Regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Wooden
and Councilmen Barnes, Dunbar, Naden, Sells & Thompson, Coun-
colmap Miller coming in later.
Minutes of the meeting of May 4,last, read and approved.
Clerks report, Treasurers' report and Budget report, for
the month of April, presented and filed.
The request of Mr. Snyder that water mains be extended about
700 feet to his place, was ref ered to the Water Committee.
Contract for Fuel Oil,(Diesel) was upon motion awarded to
the City Transfer Co.
Comunication from the Fire Dept. requesting the apointment
of A. L. Miller as a regular Fireman was read and upon motion
the request granted.
RESOLUTION No. 106, granting to Mr. Chas. M. Fouts the old
water main.across his place, was read and adopted.
Matter of sale of lot 4, block 14, W. C. I. Co's First,
was refered to the Finance Committee.
Upon motion, the request of Councilman Naden for a leaf of
absence to September 1, next, was granted.
_The City Clerk was,directed to write Dist.. Engineer, Geo. H.
Shearer, requesting that when striping the Art. Highway, they
continue through.the City at our expense. .
.Mr. Fallgreen reported on the Convention Meeting at Wenat-
chee, recentaly attended by Mayor Wooden and Himself# -
Mons Rodo reported on the Water Works.Convention at Aberdeen
from which he had just returned.
