Petition from the Schbbl Board for the vacation of the No .
end of State Street was read and upon motion the following
�'esolution was read and adopted unanimously.
THEaEAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk of
the City of Kent , Yashington, for the vacation of a portion of
the north end of State Street , being a strip of land through
McMillins addition to Kent , and more particularly described as
f oll oa*s:
Street. The description describes the north 346 feet of State
AND W EtiEAS, it appears that said petition is signed by the
owners of more than two-thirds of the private property abuttin
upon that portion of said street petioned to be vacated ,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT 11ESOLVED, That the City Council hear and
determin said petition at a meeting thereof to be held in the
City Hall in the City of Kent , on the 18th. day of Novemebt ,
1935, begining at the hour of 8 o ' clock p.m. , AND BE IT FUR'
THFAI aESOLVED, that the City Clerk be ,' and he is hereby direct
ed to cause notices of the pendency of said petition, and of t
the time and place fixed for the hearing thereof , to be posted
as required by law.
