ilegular meeting of the City Council; present It'layor Tooden
and Councilmen Barnes, Dunbar, Hardy, Miller, 1laden, Sells and
Thompson.
1,Tinutes of the meeting of September 16th..,last, read and
approved.
Police Court report of receipts for September presented and
filed.
Street Committee reported progress on grading and dressing
up th streets.
Matter of conecting to the No end of sewer dirt. �o. 222
was refered to the Sewer & Drg. Committee, power to act.
Police Committee reported on the colection of delinquent
fines and the chances of their colection.
The City Attorney was directed to take action in the matter
of D. E. Johnson having two houses conected to one water tap.
Ordinance No. 668, Adopting the Budget fcr 1936 and ordin-
ance No. 669, fixing the tax levy for the year 1936 were each
of them read and upon motion placed upon its final passage
and by seperate vote carried by the unanimous vote of all of
the Councilmen present.
Comunicating read from the '17ashington hating Bureau, on
Fire Prevention Vleek, and filed.
The fdayor apointed Dr. R. W. Rugg as a member of the Park
Board, to fill vacancy by reason of Mr. 0. C. Barnes being
elected to the City Council; the apointment eras confirmed by
the unanimous vote of the Council.
Engineer reported progress on the P.V1.A. project and the
Trunk Sewer Contract.
