Regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Wooden
and Councilmen Hardy, Naden, Sells and Thompson.
Minutes of the meeting ,of June 17th. ,last ,read & approved.
Police Court reported $35.00 receipts for month of June.
Resignation of Councilman Long was presented and upon motio
-accepted.
The following resolution aponting •Dr . M.W.Morgan temporary
Health Officer was read and upon motion adopted.
VPHEKF.AS, Dr . C. B. Hoffman, the regular apointed Health
Officer is temporarily absent from the City , It is ,
THFIaRFORE RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Kent ,
that Dr . W. If. Morgan, be , and he is hereby apointed to act asl
Health Officer until such time as the regular officer can re-
turn to his duties.

Ordinances No . 664 and 665, fixing fire limits and estab-
lishing a Building gadd Code , were presented and upon motion
placed upon their final passage and each, -upon seperate vote
was carried by the unanimous vote of all of the Councilmen
present.
Matter of -refurnishing the Library was refered to the Bldg.l
Committee , for investigation and report.
