Minutes of the meeting of July 15th. ,last ,read and approve .
2olice Court report for the month of July presented & File .
Eleven bids were opened for the replacing of portions of
the Trunk Sewer and upon motion refered to the Engineer for
checking and preparing for the consideration of the bids at Va
next meeting, to be held I,Jonday August 12.
Ordinance No. 666 , declaring an emergency and appropriatin
6000.00 for sewer constructing , was read ,adopted and laid
over to an adjurned meeting , August 12 , for final action. -
Ordinance No. 667 , providing penality for resisting arreas ,
.vas read and upon motion placed upon its final passage and car
ried by the unanimous vote of all of the Councilmen present.
Upon motion the Clark was directed to notify Lacey V. Idurr w,
Director of Highways , that the City would cooperate in any way
possible in the matter of "Mork Relief" and Street Improvement
Upon motion the Fire Dept. were authorized to form a Aural
Fire District , if possible , and permission granted to purchase
200 feet of Fire Hose and two Ries nozzles .
