First regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Wood
en and Councilmen Dunbar , Hardy, Long , Miller , Naden, Sells
and. Thompson.
The Engineer reported progress on the P.W.A. Rmog3taaa Pro-
ject.
Upon motion the Engineer was directed to make the necessa-
ry.mapes for the gas tax money. 4.
Mayor Wooden made the folloiving apointments for the term.

The Mayor apointed Councilmen Millen , Naden and Hardy a
Committee to see that the Highway Signs are painted.
Upon motion it was decided to allow $75. 00 on decorating of
the streets for the Festival.
Matter of the selection of the decorations for the streets
was 'left to the Street Committee to act 'with the Festival Com .
/Festival
Upon motion permission was granted to the Rarx!xxk Com. to
use the streets for dance and carnival .
Councilman Dunbar was unanimously elected Mayor Protem for
the ' two year term.
