Kent , Washington , May 20, 1935.
Regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Boucher
and Councilmen Hardy , Miller , Naden, Sells and Wooden.
Minutes of the meeting of May 6th. ,.last , read and approved.
Clerks report , Treasurers report and the Budget report , for
the month of April , presented and filed.
The health & Sanitation Committee reported progress on the
clean up of the streets and alleys .
The following resolution was presented and adopted:
WHEREAS,IT APPEARING that Local Improvements Districts No.
218, 221 and 223 are finished , in so far as receipts and dis-
bursements are concerned,, the assessments being all paid and
there being no bonds or warrents outstanding , the same should
be closed out and taken from the books , now therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YMZT,
that the City Clerk and Treasurer be authorized to tranflf er
the small amounts remaining in the funds of the said district
to the respective funds of Local Improvement Districts No -s
191 , 196 , 2.00 and 201 , to clear up the defficits in these
funds , and that the remainder , if any, be placed in the Local
Improvement District Fund.
Mons Rod reported on his trip to the Lewiston convention
and Mr. Wooden reported on his trip to the Centralia Conven-
tion of Washington Cities .
Matter of the Firen ens Compensation Act !7as ref. ered to the
Fire Committee for investigation and report. �
