L'inutes of the meeting of 1.1arch 18 , and special Y-eeting of
Elarch 30th. , last , read and approved .
Sewer Committee reported on condition -of Lateral Sewer in
alley back of laundry.
Ordinance No . 660 , vacating portions of Chicago Street read
and upon motion placed upon its final pass�-,Ce and carried by
the unanimous vote of all of the Councilmen present. -
Ordinance No. 661 , providing for the refunding of the 7'ater
revenue Ponds , was read and upon motion placed upon its final
passage and carried by the vote of all of the Councilmen presen ;.
Comunications from August 1�,ax and The Assn. of llfashint:,-ton
Cities was read and filed .
Bids were opened from the Petroleum fuel Service and from
the Diesel Oil Sales Co. and upon motion the contract for one
year was awarded to the Petroleum Fuel Service , as being the
lowest and best bid.
Engineer reported on the 711LtA project and other street vTork
and upon motion the matter irras rpfered to the Street Committee
and the Engineer.
Upon motion the Chief of Police v-as ordered to see that the
ordinances of the City were inforced , especially the gasoline
ordinances .
