Regular meeting; of the City Council; present Mayor Boucher
and Councilmen Dunbar , Hardy , Taller, , Daden, Sells A Tooden.
Minutes of the meeting of February 18th. ,last , read and
approved.
Clerks Anual report for the year 1935 and the Police Judge
report for the month of January presented and filed .
A petition -asking for the vacation of a portion of Chicago
street was read and a resolution accepting; the same and sett- �
ing time and .place for a hearing was read and addopted.
The Engineer reported progress on the 7TRA project for str-
eet improvement and drainage .
Comunicztion read .from John Mills Day and a letter of tlian-
ks from the Music Study Club 7as read and filed .
The T;Tayor and Clerk rere authorized to sign and .agreement
with L. R. T,Torse :For the renting of 'Tract; six, of the Tater
man Acre Tracts , for the use of gurdeniAG for the searon.
Unon motion a legal openion was requested .From the City
Attorney on the question of Paying taxes on L. I .D. Foreclos-
ure property.

VACATION OF STREET: KNOB HILL ADDITION, ERICKSON.
L ( RESOLUTION setting time for a 'nearing.
IT IS IiCREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the city of Kent, that
on the petition of Louis Erickson and Amanda I .Erickson,husband and wife,
being the sole and only owners of that portion of street hereinafter de-
scribed as a portion of Chicago street, in 1-C .I.Co 's.Knob Hill addition
to Kent, and that no other person owns any portion of said property,and
that said petitioners are the sole and only owners of tree abutting property
to said street; The said petition having been presented to the city council
in regular session on the 4th day of March,1935,and tree council having
adopted the same,does hereby set the saTne for a hearing at the meeting; of
the city council on the FIRST DAY OF APRIL, 1935,at the council chambers
in the city hall,and that all persons who desire to object to the sa.me,are
hereby notified to file their objections with the city clerk or to appear
and present the same to the city council at said meeting on the First day
of April,1935, or such time as the hearink, may be continued to,which time
and place is hereby fixed for all matters relating to the said vacation,
and all objections thereto.
That the city clerk is hereby directed to give notice of the time
and place of said hearing as required by law.
I HEREBY CERTIFY, that tree above and foregoing resolution was
passed by the City council of the City of Kent,at a regular meeting '
thereof,held in the city hall of Kent,at 8 o 'clock p.m, of the 4th day of
March, 1935.
