Kent , Washington , Nov. 5, 1934.
iegular meeting of the City Council; present I.Tayor Boucher and
Councilmen Dunbar , Dunn, Miller , Naden , Sells and l'rooden.
Idlinutes of the meeting of October 15 , last , read & approved.
Matter of cutting trees that are dangerous left in the hands
of the Street Committee , with power to act.
The Mayor and Clerk were authorized and directed to sign a
deed, conveying to S. A. IJlatson lots 12 & 13, :Block 3 of Clarks
First Addition to Kent , .for $200.00 , he to pay the taxes.
A petition eras read signed by 25 residents aol-ing that the
City Council take some action to stop so much whistle tootin
by the H.A. trains , inside the city limits and the Clerk was
directed to comuni Sate vvi th the A. il, Co . and ask them to ease
off a little.
Ordinance No . 658 , prohibiting the use of cesspools in the
City of Bent , was read and upon ;notion placed upon its final
passage and carried by the unanimous vote of all of the council-
men present .
