Minutes of the meeting of 'September 17th. ,last , read and
approved.
Upon motion the offer of I,Zr . Matson for lots 1 & 2. Block
4 of Clarks First Add . to Kent , for $200.00, he to pay the tax-
es , was accepted and the Mayor and Clerk were authorized to
sign the deedi also the mayor and 'Clerk were , upon motion,
aul,k3orized to sign deeds to A.rmsby young for lots 12 & 141 of
block 19 , 7. C. I . Co ' s First Addition to Kent .
Ordinance No . 656 and 6rdinance No 657, adopting the Budget
and fixing the ,tax levy for the year 1935, were read and upon
motion each placed upon its final passage and carried by the
unanimous vote of all of t}i.e Councilmen present .
The City Attorney vras directed to draft and ordinance 'pro- i
hibiting the use of sesspools in the City of Bent and provid-
ing ±ka for their replacement by septic tanks .
