Kent , Washington, May 7, 1934.
Regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Boucher
and Councilmen Dunbar , Hardy, Miller ,Naden, Sells & Wooden.
Minutes of the meeting of April 16th. and 18th. , read and
approved.
Report of the Police Judge for the month of April presentel
and filed.
Comunications read from Chas. M. Fouts , the City -Attorney
and from the American Water 'Works Assn. and filed.
Upon motion Mon Rod was given permission to attend the
Water Works Convention at Eugene Oregon, expense not to ex-
ceed $25.00.
The Drainage Ditch along Hazel Street was ordered piped
and back filled.
Ordinance No. 654, regulating the posetion and sale of in-
tocking liquors , was read and upon motion placed upon its
final passage and carried by the unimous vote of all of the
Councilmen present.

and Carnivle on the streets June I th. next.
Mr. Wooden gave a report of his attendance at the meeting
of the Association of Washington, held in Seattle last week.
Matter of a new Protecograph was refered to the Finance
Committee, and the matter flowing water and fish pools was
refered to the Water Committee, both committees having power
to act.
Upon motion it was ordered that all fish pools be placed
upon meters.
