Kent, Washington, April 2, 1934.
Regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Boucher
and Councilmen Dunbar , Dunn, Hardy, Miller, Naden, Sells and
Wooden.
Minutes of the `meetiiig of March 19th. , last, read and app o-
ved as read.
Report of ' the Police Judge for the month of March presente
and filed.
Street Committee and the Drainage Committee each reported
progress on work being done.
City Attorney presented the dead, from P,D,Rugg, to a part
of the James street Right-of-Way, which upon motion was ac-
cepted and ordered recorded.
Comunications were read from Irving C. Clark, R. C. Noble
and R. I. Elder; the request of Mr. Noble for the hay off of
lots -in N. P. Addition was granted, and upon motion the City
agreed to remove the gravel from Mr. Clark's ditch.
Ordinance No. 653, vacating a portion of Sixth Avenue,
between Meeker Street and Shinn Street, was read and upon mot on
placed upon its final passage and carried by the unanimous
vote .of all of the Councilmen present.
Upon motion the P. S. P. & . L. Co. was granted permission
to paint the pools on Central Avenue , at their expense.
